"In 1907 the brewery was reorganized as the Mohawk Brewing Company. George H. Osterfeld was president (He had left the Bellevue Brewing Co.); Frank G. Osterfeld, vice-president; and William Sohn's son, Walter was secretary and treasurer.

In 1913 Mohawk Produced 'Old Gold Lager' and Bohemian beers. Ostensibly Prohibition in 1919 put an end to their beer brewing. However in 1925 federal agents raided the Mohawk Brewery and a stockpile of full-strength beer was destroyed." Cincinnati Breweries, Second Edition, Robert J. Wimberg (1997)
