Wood & Metcalf/Wood & Price (1824-1830)
By 1824, Thomas Wood formed a partnership with fellow Englishman William Metcalf and opened a brewery on Water Street near the Embree brewery (or possibly taking over the Embree site). By 1829, Metcalf had open his own brewery on Sycamore between 3rd & 4th, and Dr. William Price became partners with Wood.
