By 1867 David Thatcher and former employee of Aschcraft, Joshua Dyett, purchased the S.S. Ashcraft & Co. Brewery. Thatcher retired from the company in 1870, and Dyett continued brewing until 1872 when the plant would ultimately close for good. |
